I am asking this question because I have met people who go on about animal welfare then when we go to a restaurant they order a big plate of duck or something like that. I think it seems hypocritical but maybe there is an arguement in favour of eating meat. What is your opinion on this?

I would not get a pet for a gift. We already have like 20 animals and we don’t need more pets..

I am wondering what qualities one finds in an animal lover’s personality vs. someone who doesn’t care for animals? Would you say that people who like animals are more empathetic?
Yeah, I know how they feel…but I am actually looking for the words to verbalize it. I am not looking for feelings, I am asking about the qualities. That is the difference.
well im an animal lover and i feel bad when i see snakes a lizards eating mice and so on i even feel bad when i tr ed on a snail lol and i cant harm spiders for no reason even thought im scared of them.
and i cant walk in a pet shop without wanted to buy loads of animals and toys for mine pets lol.
id say that’s animal lover and someone who isn’t
kill wild things for no reason neglect there pets because there bored of them After 2 months and who randomly hate some pet rodents for no reason because of there wild life reputation.

I am not sure if I understand your question correctly .. If you are just looking for something good to do- then you could go ahead and adapt animals, cats…
If you are really love animals, love to spend time with them then also there are a lot of options available like you could go to Paradise Wildlife Park, or become a wild animal keeper for a day, or adapt a penguin, can have amazing luxury Treehouse Experience …Also look at this article :
